Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-05 · Terms of Use
This policy explains what Blackbeard’s Collection collects, why, who processes it and the choices you have. In short: we keep what you give us to track your collection, we do not sell it, we show no ads, and you can delete everything at any time.
1. What we collect
- Account. Your email address and password; the password is stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider. If you continue with Google: the name, email address and profile picture link Google shares. If you start without an email: nothing beyond the profile below.
- Profile. Username, display name, country, region, the languages you speak, interface language, default card world and profile visibility.
- Your collection. The cards you add and what you record about them (condition, grading, price paid or sold, dates, where, notes, whether it is open to trade), your want list, favorites, your own lists and which of your cards fill which collection slots.
- Technical data. The cookies listed below; the logs our hosting providers keep to run and secure the service (IP address, browser, pages requested, time); and anonymous visit statistics from Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites.
2. How we use it
- To run the site: sign you in, store and show your collection and lists.
- To show your profile and lists to others only as your visibility settings allow.
- To count how many collectors hold each printing (“Most collected”). It is an anonymous total; nobody sees who holds what.
- Country, region and languages are asked so that collectors can later find each other nearby (“who near me has this card?”). That feature is not built yet; today they are shown only as your profile visibility allows.
- To keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
- We do not sell your data, show ads or use your data for advertising.
3. Who processes it
- Supabase — database and sign-in. Your data is stored in Singapore.
- Vercel — hosting and visit statistics. Server code runs in Singapore; pages are delivered through Vercel’s worldwide network.
- Google — only if you choose to continue with Google.
- Card image sources — your browser loads card images from static.dotgg.gg, and some from Bandai’s official card list through our server. Like any image on the web, the source sees your IP address and browser.
- TCGplayer and Cardmarket — only when you follow a link to them.
4. Cookies
Only what the site needs to work: your sign-in session (cookies named sb-…), your interface language (opc-lang) and the card world you last browsed (opc-world). No advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
- As long as your account exists.
- When you delete your account (Profile → Delete account), your profile, cards, want list, favorites, lists and their placements are removed from our database at once and for good. Copies can remain in our providers’ backups and logs until those expire on their own schedule.
- Anonymous totals, such as how many collectors hold a printing, go down as your cards are deleted.
6. Your rights
You can see and correct your data on the site at any time, and delete all of it with Delete account. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may also have the right to a copy of your data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. To ask for any of these, write to info@gameblock.us.
7. International processing
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in Singapore and the United States.
8. Children
The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep their data.
9. Security
Every table holding user data is protected by row-level security in the database, so one collector’s private data cannot be read through another account, and every connection is encrypted. No system is perfectly secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the current version, and we will say so on the site when a change is significant. This policy exists in English and Japanese; if the two differ, the English version prevails.
